Besides power steering – which can be very helpful on some roads and air condition which helps you to keep all fresh all our cars have other specials you wouldn’t find in our car groups A – C. The first thing is of course that you will have 4x4 – so even on untarred roads built in the middle of nowhere you will have no problems. The second thing is that all our cars in this group have a water tank and a 150 L petrol tank. So you can make quite a far distance and neither your car nor you will long for liquid. A fridge that freezes meat is easily fitted in if wanted. And last but not least all our 4x4’s have a roof tent which means you can enjoy a night in pure nature without fear that some animals will enter your tent at night and disturb your sleep.
If you don’t have any camping equipment with you or you don’t want to take all the stuff with you when you come here – no problem! We are pleased to help you with that. All of those cars are – like all of our Drive Africa cars - of course in a very good condition and are regularly checked and serviced by our in-house mechanic. The write-down in this car group is slightly more than the ones in group A – C due to the fact that these cars can go on roads where the other cars cant go to and the wear and there therefore is a little more. The insurance is also slightly more – depending on the model year - since it includes all Southern African countries border crossing right up to Malawi. But this is well worth sitting in a car you can explore the whole pure beauty and nature of Southern Africa with. All our cars are sold with insurance and no age restriction – just a valid national or international driver’s license needed.
