A Buyback or Rental Purchase deal is a purchase of a car with a guaranteed price fixed from the day of purchase to buy the car back for. Every buyback deal is sold with insurance or no sale takes place. We organize comprehensive insurance with an excess for any age group and regardless how long you have had your driver’s license yet. There are no penalties for early return, however insurance can not be refunded as it is bought as one package from insurance company upfront with purchase of vehicle. The buyback amount is calculated according to a write-down scale so if a vehicle returned earlier more money is refunded on the buyback if an extension takes place less will be paid at return of vehicle.

All cars are sold with the necessary government inspection certificate (Roadworthy) and are licensed in the buyer’s name. The car is comprehensively insured so that anybody that drives the car is insured at all times, with an option for extra insurance to cover car rental costs in case the car is involved in an accident and takes time to repair or if it is stolen you get a rental car free for up to 28 days to drive around until the insurance sorts out the payout. Each buyback car is a full member of the AA Automobile Association of South Africa so you  have a 24 hour number you can contact in case of mechanical failure they will tow you free of charge to the next garage where repairs can be made.

The cars are normally handed over at our depot in Cape Town. Any other deliveries to other towns and cities including outside of South Africa are delivered with extra costs that depend on where the handover takes place.
