Repair workshop in Cape Town compliments second hand, used and buyback cars

If anyone thinks of buying a vehicle to explore Southern Africa, Drive Africa is the name of choice when it comes to price innovation, paying either by credit card without fees, EFT, bank transfer, cash or paying with debit card. We facilitate insurance cover and of course, we now have a car repair workshop to have major and minor car repairs done in-house.

Drive Africa's mechanical workshop takes care of all buyback client needs as well as the needs of second hand and used car buyers. We can help you find the correct vehicle, get it ready for delivery, and buyback vehicles will get serviced at regular intervals during the client's stay in Cape Town.

If you are buying or selling a new car- bring your vehicle to our mechanical workshop and we will give your car a complete service, after which we will attend to obtaining the required roadworthy certificate. For the roadworthy certificate, you might need new tyres, an oil leak fixed, a new clutch fitted, spark plugs renewed, a wheel alignment done, a new windscreen fitted or the installation of a gearlock as required by your insurance. We only do what’s needed- taking the hassle out of buying or selling your second hand used car.

If you want to buy a used car, but you're not sure whether or not the car is worth the amount being charged, bring it to Drive Africa's car repair workshop! For a nominal fee of R100 we will give it a clean bill of health if it deserves it or the thumbs down if you are buying a lemon.

The general vehicle check will include hooter, lights, wiper blades, belts, exhaust, tyres, advice on wheel alignment if needed, shocks, steering, brakes, cooling system, shock and engine mountings, CV's as well as CV boots and steering rack boots. All these items will need to pass the vehicle inspection in order to receive the government accredited roadworthy certificate.

For some tips or hints on what to look for when you are buying a second hand or used car, we have compiled a comprehensive buyers guide.

If your car needs a bit of a tweak- come visit our car repair workshop in Observatory, Cape Town. We await your call!
