Who should buy a group A1-vehicle? This car group is not for use outside South Africa borders !
You are a student or an intern in Cape Town? These well looked after A1 cars are ideal for students, interns, backpackers’ living and traveling in and around the Cape Town area and using it to explore the surrounding areas like the Winelands, Cape Point to Cape Agulhas and further a field like the Garden Route or the West Coast etc.
This car group may not be taken into countries bordering South Africa but therefore the insurance is less and the write-down is also the lowest in the car buyback category. Cars may travel throughout the Western Cape but when really planning to do bigger trips through the country a group A2 would be more suitable and will give you a better sense of security and knowledge that you won’t break down.
